            The Academy of Careers and Technology (ACT) acknowledges having been notified that we will receive $462,200.

          ACT has distributed 100+% of the funds in the form of emergency financial aid grants to students. As of 6/22/2023 we estimated 138 students are eligible and we will distribute $89106 institutional funding (which equals 19%) to the 135 qualifying students.

          The Academy of Careers and Technology, being a small career and technical center understands that adult students have incurred extra cost due to COVID-19.  We will distribute funds to adult students based on the guidance from:

            We will distribute funds to adult students who graduated between January 17, 2023, and June 2, 2023, and all adult students who are currently enrolled as of June 2, 2023, using the following formula:

Final Report we have distributed more than100% of the student portion.

The Academy of Careers and Technology (ACT) acknowledges having signed and returned the certification and agreement to the US Department of Education. We have been notified that we will received the $174,170

            ACT intends to use at least 50% of the funds in the form of emergency financial aid grants to students. As of 8/20/2020 we estimated 125 students are eligible and we have distributed $103,890 (which equals over 59%) to 125 qualifying students.

            ACT being a small career and technical center understands that adult students have incurred extra cost due to COVID-19.  This cost would be supplies to perform class from home, increased data usage either by phone or landline and many have had their graduation dates extended.  We will distribute funds to adult students based on the guidance from the Secretary of Education letter received on April 9, 2020 which states “The CARES Act provides institutions with the significant discretion on how to award this emergency assistance to students. This means each institution may develop its own system and process for determine how to allocate these funds, which may include distributing the funds to all adult students or…”.

            We will distribute funds to adult students who are attending school as of 8/16/2020 or who graduated between June 17, 2020 and August 16,2020 using the following formula:
