Testing Begins for February 2025 Phlebotomy Program
Our next Phlebotomy Technician program begins in February 2025. We are currently testing for this program.
The first step in the enrollment process is to request a free TABE exam:

After you fill out the TABE link you should receive an email with test information. If you do not receive an email within a few days check your junk folder. Many students say this email goes to their junk folder for some reason.
ACT has funding available to allow WV residents to obtain a new career for FREE. When you start class between May 1, 2024 and April 30, 2025. This includes tuition, fees and books. This funding is available to all WV residents who complete their *FAFSA and the HEAPS application.

Commercial Driving Accepting

Raleigh County CTE wins District Class IV Pinnacle Award
Congratulations to all of our Raleigh County middle schools, high schools, and ACT for winning the Pinnacle Award District Class IV award presented at the CTE Awards Gala at Canaan Valley Resort on September 4, 2024. \
The district received this award based off of being one of two districts in the state in our class size to have the top score of meeting our accountability indicators from last school year’s data.
These indicators include the number of students in high school and middle school who take CTE courses, how many students complete a CTE program, our work-based learning hours, our NOCTI assessment scores, and our percentage of properly endorsed CTE teachers.
We are so proud of Raleigh County CTE. It is a team effort and we could not do it without all of our awesome students and staff.
24th Annual Festival of Trees
Come drop in on December 17th between 5 pm and 8 pm to see and vote for your favorite traditional and non-traditional Christmas tree. There will be over 30 trees on display. Cannot wait to see you there!

CTE Food Truck Showcase Winners
Our ProStart Restaurant Management program won the CTE Food Truck Showcase competition held at Canaan Valley Resort on September 5, 2024.
This win was a collaborative effort of many programs here at ACT to build this food truck from the ground up.
We are very proud of all of our students and programs involved.
