Welcome to the website of the Academy of Careers and Technology--A West Virginia
School of Excellence. The mission of the Academy of Careers and Technology is
to empower its students with the technical and academic skills necessary to
be competitive and productive members of the work 
force,
ready to meet the career challenges of the twenty-first century. The Academy
of Careers and Technology serves adults and secondary students for Raleigh County
and West Virginia. Full-time programs include basic academic skills, computer
literacy, occupational knowledge, occupational performance skills, safety, and
work place and leadership skills. Whether you are a high school student preparing
for post-secondary education or work, an unemployed or underemployed adult looking
for a career or advancement in a career, or a business looking to upgrade training
for your current employees or to hire new ones we can help.
