The Raleigh County Board of Education will accept sealed bids for the sale of a 24 x 52 Modular House (1248 square feet): located at the Academy of Careers and Technology, 390 Stanaford Road, Beckley WV 25801. (Beside Woodrow Wilson High School)

Description of House to be Sold:
24 x 52 Modular house (1248 square feet): 3 Bedrooms; Living room; Combination Kitchen and Dining room, Utility room, and two (2) Full Baths. The kitchen, dining area, living room, and hallway have laminated flooring. The three (3) bedrooms have berber carpet. The bathrooms and utility room has vinyl flooring. Kitchen includes island, stove, side by side refrigerator, vented microwave and dishwasher, recessed canister lights; oak cabinets, formica top and stainless sink. The two baths have maple vanities and china tops with combination tri-view medicine cabinets, lights, heat and exhaust fans. The main bathroom has combination tub and shower unit and the master bathroom has corner shower. Utility room is wired and plumbed for washer and dryer with 50 gallon electric water heater with oak storage cabinets above washer and dryer. Sealed Bids will be accepted until Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. EST at which time they will be opened at the Raleigh County Board of Education Purchasing Office, 2001 South Kanawha Street, Beckley WV 25801. Acceptable high bidder must provide a ten percent (10%) nonrefundable good faith deposit within twenty-four (24) hours of bid opening. The high bidder must also complete payment within thirty (30) days from date of sale and is responsible for transporting of house from school property within ninety (90) days from date of sale.

The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to make selections as is deemed to be in the best interest of Raleigh County Schools.
