D. Thompson-Mills is the Pre-Engineering instructor for Project Lead The Way curriculum at the Academy of Careers & Technology. Project Lead the Way is a national initiative to send more students with an aptitude for engineering on to the college level. She is a graduate Civil Engineer (WVIT) with a Master’s Degree in Business (Marshall). D. and David have two daughters at Independence High School.
